Today, Mohamed Eben Abdallah’s career reflects more than a decade of experience across the fitness and wellness industry, with a professional journey spanning Canada, Tunisia, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
His work sits at the intersection of business development, sales, product positioning, client relationships and project delivery. Over the years, he has developed a particular expertise in fitness equipment and gym flooring, helping brands and businesses find practical solutions for the spaces where people train, recover and pursue better health.
But his career did not begin with a senior title or a regional leadership position.
It started with sales.
And over time, each market, role and project became another step in building the expertise he carries today.
The First Lesson Came From Sales
Mohamed Eben Abdallah began his professional career in Canada as a Sales Officer at Cevitec Inc., before moving into senior sales and rental consultancy roles in Tunisia.
Those early experiences introduced him to the fundamentals of commercial work: understanding customers, communicating clearly, building trust and learning how to turn a conversation into a long-term relationship.
In 2017, his career moved toward the fitness industry when he joined Sports Corner in Doha as a Sales Consultant in the Fitness Specialist Wholesale Department.
This was an important transition.
He was no longer simply selling a product. He was entering an industry where equipment, space planning, performance and customer requirements all had to work together.
The role also gave him exposure to internationally recognised fitness brands including Core Health & Fitness, SportArt, BH Fitness, Body-Solid and Tunturi.
The following year, he joined MTM Group in Doha as a Membership Consultant, adding another perspective to his understanding of the fitness business.
Working directly with members helped him understand that the industry was ultimately about people. Equipment and facilities may create the environment, but the experience of the person using them remains at the centre of the business.
Moving From B2C to B2B
One of the most important developments in Mohamed’s career was his transition from consumer-facing sales into B2B business.
The difference required a new way of thinking.
Individual customers often make decisions based on personal preferences, while businesses evaluate products through a much wider lens. Price, durability, functionality, project requirements, timelines, brand reputation and long-term value all become part of the conversation.
Mohamed learned to approach these relationships as a consultant rather than simply a salesperson.
That approach became particularly valuable when he moved to the UAE and joined Functional Fitness Supply LLC in 2020.
Between 2020 and 2023, he worked as Sales Manager and later Head of Sales, representing brands including PaviFLEX Gym Flooring, Dollamur MMA Flooring, Duratrain Gym Flooring and Freemotion Fitness Equipment.
His responsibilities expanded from selling individual products to supporting complete projects, from initial consultation and product selection through implementation and after-sales support.
Building Fitness Spaces Across The UAE
The UAE became a significant chapter in Mohamed’s professional development.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi offered an increasingly sophisticated fitness and wellness market, with commercial gyms, private facilities, hotels, residential developments and specialised training centres requiring different solutions.
Mohamed became involved in projects across these different environments.
His project references include Khabib Gym by Palms Sports, Rove Hotel Dubai, Gym 971 Ladies, Fitnglam, Chalk Training, The Fitness Connection in Al Ain, Optimize Fitness Studio in Abu Dhabi and The Ritz-Carlton in Ras Al Khaimah, among others.
These projects gave him an opportunity to understand the practical side of fitness development.
A gym floor, for example, is not simply a visual feature. The correct flooring solution needs to consider the type of training, equipment being used, impact, safety, durability, acoustics and the overall purpose of the space.
This is where Mohamed’s role developed beyond traditional sales.
He became involved in understanding the project itself and helping clients identify solutions that were fit for purpose.

From The UAE To Saudi Arabia
In 2024, Mohamed took another major step by moving into the Saudi Arabian market as Regional Sales Manager at FITHUB SA.
The move expanded his regional perspective once again.
Saudi Arabia’s fitness and wellness sector presented a rapidly developing market with opportunities across commercial gyms, hospitality, residential developments, medical facilities and specialised fitness environments.
At FITHUB SA, Mohamed worked with brands including Matrix Fitness Equipment and Ziva Accessories. In 2025, he moved to Fitness Prime SA, where he currently works as Business Development Manager and Product Manager, representing PaviFLEX Gym Flooring and Core Health & Fitness Gym Equipment.
The progression reflects the evolution of his career.
He moved from sales, to management, to regional business development and product-focused responsibilities.
Today, his work involves much more than closing a deal.
It involves understanding markets, developing partnerships, positioning products and identifying opportunities for businesses looking to grow.
More Than Products: Understanding The Project
Mohamed’s professional approach is built around the idea that fitness solutions need to be considered within the wider context of a project.
A developer may have different priorities from a gym owner. A hospitality group may approach a fitness facility differently from a medical centre. A premium private gym may require a completely different solution from a high-volume commercial club.
Understanding those differences is part of the value he brings to the conversation.
His work includes consulting on fitness equipment and gym flooring, helping clients position products according to project requirements and supporting the process from consultation and specification through implementation.
This consultative approach has helped him build relationships with gym owners, developers, hospitality groups, wellness operators, contractors, consultants and other commercial partners across the region.

A Portfolio Built Across The GCC
The scale of Mohamed’s professional experience can also be seen through the projects connected to his work.
His portfolio includes more than 26 featured projects across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, with references ranging from fitness clubs and training facilities to hotels, medical centres and residential developments.
In Saudi Arabia, his project references include Reform Athletica in Riyadh, European Medical Center in Jeddah, the Amaala Project at the Red Sea, Matrix Fitness Middle East, Drax Fitness, Vives Compound, Hilton Hotel and Residences in Riyadh and Sultan City Medical Center.
In the UAE, his portfolio includes projects such as Khabib Gym, Rove Hotel Dubai, Gym 971 Ladies, Fitnglam, Chalk Training, Redfit Club, Fitrepublic, VEO Emaar and other commercial fitness spaces.
These projects demonstrate the breadth of environments in which his expertise has been applied.
The Importance Of Trust In Business
For Mohamed, professional success is closely connected to relationships.
His career has been built through repeated interactions with clients, brands, contractors and project partners. That makes trust an important part of his business philosophy.
Several professional testimonials in his portfolio highlight his responsiveness, communication, attention to project timelines and involvement throughout the sales and implementation process.
One project reference describes his involvement from pre-sales through after-sales, while another highlights his ability to maintain communication throughout a project and meet deadlines.
For Mohamed, these relationships are not simply commercial transactions.
They are partnerships that can continue long after a project has been completed.
A Career Shaped By Four Countries
What makes Mohamed’s journey particularly valuable is the range of markets that have shaped his professional perspective.
His career has taken him through Canada, Tunisia, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, giving him exposure to different cultures, customers and business environments. His professional profile records more than 12 years of experience and work across four countries in the fitness and wellness sector.
Each move required adaptation.
Different markets have different expectations. Different clients communicate differently. And every new position requires the ability to learn quickly and build credibility again.
Instead of seeing those transitions as disruptions, Mohamed used them to broaden his understanding of the industry.
The result is a regional perspective that combines commercial experience with practical knowledge of fitness and wellness projects.
The Larger Opportunity In Saudi Arabia
Today, Saudi Arabia represents an important part of Mohamed’s professional focus.
As Business Development Manager and Product Manager at Fitness Prime SA, his work is centred on developing opportunities, strengthening partnerships and supporting the growth of fitness and wellness solutions in the Saudi market.
His experience in the UAE and Qatar gives him a useful reference point when approaching the Saudi market.
He understands that successful expansion is not simply about bringing a product into a new country.
It is about understanding the market, identifying the right partners, building credibility and creating solutions that respond to actual customer requirements.
That is where his experience across the GCC becomes particularly relevant.
Building What Comes Next
Looking ahead, Mohamed’s ambitions extend beyond individual sales or projects.
His professional focus is increasingly centred on business development, market expansion, brand representation and strategic partnerships across the fitness and wellness sector. His portfolio specifically highlights these areas as core parts of his expertise.
He wants to continue helping international brands enter and grow within GCC markets while supporting businesses in creating fitness environments that are safe, durable and suited to the people who use them.
The opportunity is significant.
The region’s fitness and wellness landscape continues to develop, creating demand for better equipment, stronger facilities and more specialised spaces.
For Mohamed, that means there is still plenty of work to do.
His journey has moved from sales offices to gyms, from individual customers to major commercial projects, and from one country to an increasingly regional role.
Yet the principle behind his work has remained consistent.
Understand the client.
Understand the market.
Deliver what was promised.
And build relationships strong enough to last beyond the transaction.
That combination of commercial discipline, industry knowledge and relationship-led business development has become the foundation of Mohamed Eben Abdallah’s career.
And as the GCC fitness and wellness industry continues to expand, his next chapter is likely to be defined by the same qualities that have shaped everything before it: adaptability, expertise, consistency and trust.
