A passenger has spoken out about a terrifying incident on board an international flight from Melbourne where two men allegedly made gun threats.
The incident unfolded on the Qatar Airways-operated flight to Doha on Friday.

One passenger, who was travelling alone said she was seated near family members of the two men, who she understood are brothers.
The witness, who would like to remain anonymous, told Sunrise that she was aware of the men hours before their outburst.
“From the moment they boarded the aircraft, they appeared extremely agitated and restless,” she said.
“They were repeatedly getting in and out of their seats, moving around the cabin and into my personal space, and touching or moving my belongings.
“They were also repeatedly rummaging through their luggage and saying they were looking for items they had apparently misplaced.”

The witness told Sunrise that the two men began fighting with each other six hours into the 14-hour flight, before they allegedly turned on cabin crew.
“A very strong passenger immediately stepped in and restrained one of the brothers, while members of the cabin crew restrained the other,” the witness said.
“The men would not comply with instructions from the crew, and ultimately had to be restrained.
“One of them eventually calmed down and remained relatively quiet for the rest of the flight. The other remained extremely angry and agitated.
“He was yelling, spitting, kicking and headbutting a flight attendant.”
That is when she said several other male passengers stood up to intervene and assist cabin crew in restraining the man.

“I have to commend those passengers. They were absolutely amazing and showed enormous courage in helping the crew and protecting other passengers,” the witness told Sunrise.
“The cabin crew deserve enormous credit. They handled an incredibly difficult and frightening situation professionally and did everything they possibly could to calm the situation and protect the other passengers.
“The entire experience made what should have been a normal 14-hour flight from Melbourne to Doha extremely unpleasant.”
One of the men was handcuffed, the other was restrained using zip ties, Sunrise reports.
They were then held in the plane galley until the flight landed in Doha.
Local authorities boarded the plane in Doha and escorted the two men off.
It remains unclear at this stage whether the passengers were Australian citizens or if any charges are yet to be laid.
