FutureBall: Double the luck for Aussie punters with launch of ‘most winnable lottery’

Aussies will be celebrating the launch of a new Lotto game that promises a fresh twist and better odds of bagging a life-changing win.

FutureBall, owned and operated by The Lottery Office, will be dishing out cash to hopeful punters after its debut draw on Tuesday.

Lauded as the country’s “most winnable multi-million dollar” lottery, the chances of scooping FutureBall’s division one prize are 1 in 4,034,712 — odds The Lottery Office claims are twice as favourable as other domestic lotteries.

The Lottery Office chief executive officer Jaclyn Woods said the game has been design to give Aussies a better shot at netting a million-dollar haul.

“After a significant development and regulatory approval process, we’re proud to announce FutureBall is here, to give everyday Australians a better chance of becoming millionaires,” Ms Wood said.

“It’s about rethinking how traditional lotteries are structured. FutureBall is designed to improve the odds of winning a first division prize, while keeping the experience exciting and engaging.

“With clear rules, regular draws and a winner takes all approach, FutureBall offers a more straightforward and rewarding way to play.”

Drawn every Tuesday and Thursday, punters will need to match six numbers plus the FutureBall to secure the $1m top prize.

Unlike other lotteries, the game generates a unique number combination to each player, meaning sharing the top prize is a thing of the past.

“Too often, big wins are divided among multiple players, reducing their impact,” Ms Wood said.

“When you win FutureBall, you never have to share the spotlight… or your $1m prize.

“It’s a wonderful thing knowing the full sum belongs to a single player. One million dollars. One lucky winner. FutureBall makes sure that when someone wins that Division 1 draw, the win makes a true difference.”

Punters in Australia and New Zealand can purchase FutureBall tickets via The Lottery Office website or app before the draw closes at 7:30pm AEST.
