FOX FOOTY signs AFLW champions for blockbuster 2026 coverage

Fox Footy and Kayo Sports, part of DAZN Australia, will broadcast every match of the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership season live, including every final and the Grand Final, when the season begins on Sunday, August 9.

The broadcaster has also expanded its on-air line-up, with Lauren ArnellChelsea Randall and Emma Kearney joining the coverage ahead of the new season.

According to Fox Footy, the trio brings experience from more than 500 AFLW games, along with multiple premierships, All-Australian honours and leadership roles across the competition.

They join an AFLW commentary and analysis team featuring Ruby SchleicherEllie BlackburnMeg McDonaldJordy AllenBonnie ToogoodTaylor SmithDebbie LeeChyloe KurdasNikki HarwoodDaniel Harford and Will Schofield.

Calling duties throughout the season will be shared by Kelli UnderwoodJess WebsterBen WaterworthAdam Papalia and Joel Peterson.

Boundary reporting will be handled by Lauren WoodMegan WatersSarah BurtSteph ClarksonAlexia PesceMonique Van Der HeydenJess StewartKeirra TrompfBonnie Raynor and Sarah Karaoglu.

According to the company, the 2026 season also represents another step in its commitment to women’s sport and women in sports broadcasting.

It says at least 25 women will feature across Fox Footy’s AFL and AFLW coverage in presenting, commentary, boundary riding and special comments roles. Across the Foxtel Group’s coverage of AFLAFLWNRLNRLW, international cricket, the BBLWBBL and Super Netball, almost 90 women will appear in on-air roles during the year.

The broadcaster also said the depth of talent available reflects the continued development of the AFLW competition.

It follows what Kayo Sports and Foxtel say was their biggest audience for an AFLW match on record during last weekend’s Australia v Ireland AFLW international.

Viewers will be able to watch every match of the 2026 AFLW season live on Fox Footy, with pre-game and post-game coverage, expert analysis and every final, including the Grand Final.
