Fans of Fisk are set to see Helen Tudor-Fisk return for another chapter at Gruber & Gruber.
ABC has signed on for a fourth season of Fisk, with TV Blackbox able to confirm the Logie Award-winning comedy is set to return.
While the ABC is not confirming the recommissioning at this stage, TV Blackbox understands the official announcement is expected to be one of the major reveals at the broadcaster’s upcoming Upfronts Showcase.

According to information obtained by TV Blackbox, filming is slated to begin in Melbourne next April, with the new season most likely to premiere during Q4 2027.
The news will come as a welcome boost for fans after months of uncertainty surrounding the future of the series. As of mid-2026, the broadcaster had not officially announced or greenlit a fourth season, although the comedy had never been cancelled.
Show creator, writer and star Kitty Flanagan had previously indicated she was keen to continue the series, but suggested any return depended on bringing the ensemble cast back together amid increasingly busy schedules.
TV Blackbox understands the full principal cast is expected to return for the new season, including Kitty Flanagan, Julia Zemiro, Aaron Chen and Marty Sheargold.
The return would see Aaron Chen reprise his role after finding increasing success in Hollywood, while Marty Sheargold is also expected back despite the controversies that have surrounded him since his departure from commercial radio.
Sheargold left Triple M in 2025 after comments made during his drive-time radio program sparked widespread criticism. Later that year, the Australian Communications and Media Authority found the broadcast had breached commercial radio decency codes. Despite the public backlash, TV Blackbox understands ABC is hopeful audiences will focus on the comedy rather than the off-screen controversy.

Hints that the long-awaited return is gathering momentum emerged this week on Have You Been Paying Attention?, where Kitty Flanagan revealed she and her sister and co-writer, Penny Flanagan, have recently begun writing scripts for the new season.
Co-created by Kitty Flanagan and Vincent Sheehan, Fisk follows Helen Tudor-Fisk, a former corporate lawyer who relocates to Melbourne after her personal and professional life unravels, taking a job at suburban wills and probate firm Gruber & Gruber. The comedy has earned critical acclaim and strong audience support in Australia, while also attracting a significant international following after becoming available on Netflix.
