BINGE has today released the first look at Wentworth: Halfway Home, with nine new cast members joining the spin-off alongside returning favourites.

Katrina Milosevic, Nicole da Silva and Kate Box reprise their roles as Boomer, Franky and Lou, with production underway in Melbourne ahead of the series’ exclusive premiere on BINGE and Foxtel in late 2026.

The first-look footage has been timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of Wentworth’s final episode, which aired on 26 October 2021.

Nadine Garner (High Country: What Lies Beneath, The Doctor Blake Mysteries), Elaine Crombie (Invisible Boys, Top End Bub), Grace Chow (Dog Park, Good Cop Bad Cop) and Sara West (Troppo, Neighbours) are among the new cast members.

They are joined by Claude Jabbour (Last King of The Cross, Stateless), Daniel Henshall (Last Seen, The Family Next Door), Laura Gordon (Watching You, Hotel Cocaine), Thom Green (The Survivors, Of An Age) and Chika Ikogwe (Heartbreak High, Land of Bad).

The new additions join previously announced cast members Rachel Griffiths as Moira, Sophie Lowe as Sam, Alex King as Dee and Chenile Chandler as Lily.

Garner said she was grateful to join a series she had admired for years, having watched friends and colleagues work on the original production.

“I never dreamed I would be stepping into this next chapter and am so grateful for the opportunity to carry forward the story for their dedicated audience.”

Freshly released from prison, Boomer arrives at Sal’s Halfway House determined to gain custody of her daughter and build a new life for them both. But when a body turns up, she must work out who she can trust in a house full of former inmates.

Wentworth premiered on Foxtel in 2013, reimagining the landmark Australian series Prisoner. The Fremantle production ran for eight seasons and screened in more than 170 territories worldwide.
