Disney+ has renewed Hulu Original thriller Furious for a second season, with the first season set to conclude on Monday, August 31.
The series stars Emmy Rossum as FBI agent Alice Black, who is hunting a mysterious and calculating female serial killer, played by Lola Petticrew. As Alice’s investigation develops, the lives of the two women begin to intertwine, blurring the line between right and wrong.
Furious has seen its audience grow throughout the first season, with views for episode seven up 40% compared to the premiere based on one-day viewing figures. The series has also received strong reviews, launching with a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and currently holding a 98% rating.

Created, written and executive produced by Elizabeth Meriwether, the series also features Rossum as an executive producer for Composition 8, alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk executive produced and directed the first two episodes, with the series produced by 20th Television and Searchlight Television.
Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Scoot McNairy also star, alongside guest appearances from Jake Lacy, Rob Delaney, Hope Davis, Rob Yang and Steve Way.
A release date for season two has not yet been announced.
The first season of Furious concludes Monday, August 31, with the series streaming on Disney+ in Australia.
