For Padukone’s first-ever Met Gala in 2017, with the theme Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between, she chose to go for a simple yet statement-making bias-cut gown in white satin featuring cascading embroidery of crystals on the ends. Designed by Tommy Hilfiger, Padukone wore diamond studded flowers on her hair and wore long drop earrings to complete her look.
