Dananeer Mobeen is a talented and stunning Pakistani film and television actress who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Mera Lyari, a sports drama set in Lyari. The film has been written and directed by Abu Aleeha. Her other notable dramas include Sinf-e-Aahan, Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, Meem Se Mohabbat, and Very Filmy. She also boasts a strong social media following of around 7.1 million.
Recently, Dananeer Mobeen appeared on Mashion Pakistan’s short chit-chat session. During the show, she called the iconic Bollywood movie Devdas overrated.
Replying to the question about which classic movie is overrated, Dananeer Mobeen said, “Devdas, it’s so overrated. What is the story? Guys, can somebody break it down? Does it make any sense? The guy is an alcoholic, there is a woman who has no self-respect, there is a shameless dad, there is another woman who is forced upon another man, there is another man who is forced upon a woman. What is happening? Why is it a classic? Why is everyone going gaga over it? Yes, I get the grandeur, the jewelry, the dresses, the vibe, and the grand sets, but sorry, there is no story in it.
