Keep an eye out the next time you’re walking down Dorchester Street! A new sign in the window is letting neighbors know that Piccolino is coming soon to the neighborhood.
Created by a South Boston resident, Piccolino—Italian for “the little one”—is inspired by time spent living in Italy and will be a traditional day-to-night café. Mornings will feature fresh pastries and classic espresso drinks, while evenings will shift to seasonal shareable snacks, aperitivo cocktails, and Italian favorites like Aperol Spritzes, Negronis, marinated olives, and prosciutto e melone.
The goal is to create a welcoming gathering place where neighbors can connect over coffee in the morning or meet up with friends for drinks and light bites in the evening. We’ll be sure to share more details, including an opening date, as soon as they’re announced.
