Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer have today confirmed Colin from Accounts will conclude with its upcoming third season, ending the acclaimed Australian comedy after three seasons.
The confirmation comes after TV Blackbox reported in April that season three was expected to be the show’s final outing, following comments made by Foxtel’s Executive Director of Content and Commercial Partnerships, Daniel Monaghan, at the Screen Forever conference.
Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall said ending the series after three seasons felt like the right creative decision, reflecting on a journey that saw them write all 24 episodes, produce the series alongside Easy Tiger, and bring Gordon, Ashley and Colin to audiences around the world.

The pair said they would miss making the series but hoped audiences would enjoy the final season as much as they had, thanking viewers for their support throughout the show’s run.
One of BINGE’s most successful original scripted series, Colin from Accounts has also become a global success, airing on the BBC in the UK and Paramount+ in the United States, where it holds a 100 per cent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The eight episode final season picks up in the aftermath of Gordon’s ill fated proposal, with Gordon and Ashley determined to move on despite work, family and new friendships continuing to pull them back together.
Joining the farewell season are Thomas Cocquerel, Nikki Shiels and Mark Trevorrow, alongside returning cast members Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Virginia Gay, Annie Maynard, Celeste Barber, Justin Rosniak and Tai Hara.
