It looks like Wheel of Fortune Australia is set for another spin, with a new contestant search suggesting the revived game show isn’t done just yet.
A casting notice released by UK producer Whisper North states the game show “is coming to Channel 10”, pointing to a likely return for the 2024 revival despite the network previously describing it as a short run event.
The development comes as 10 continues to shape its entertainment slate for the remainder of 2026, following the decision to shelve The Amazing Race Australia earlier this year and ‘rest’ several local entertainment formats.

Entries are open until 19 August for Australian citizens aged 18 and over who hold a valid Australian passport, reflecting the production model used for the 2024 revival.
Like last time, the Australian version is expected to again be filmed alongside the continuing UK series, with Graham Norton also expected to return as host, allowing Australian episodes to be recorded during the same studio production run.
The move also follows production of at least six themed Deal or No Deal Celebrity Jackpot Specials earlier this month, including editions featuring Australian comedians, Australian radio and podcast hosts, The Cheap Seats, Gogglebox, The Wiggles and the UFC.
If the episodes are ready in time, Wheel of Fortune Australia could join those Deal or No Deal specials, alongside The Traitors and Big Brother, as 10’s entertainment lineup for the remainder of 2026 continues to take shape.
When questioned by TV Blackbox following last year’s Upfront presentation, 10 said Wheel of Fortune Australia had been “rested”, adding the revival “was only ever meant as a short run”.
The casting process suggests the network’s plans have evolved as it continues to round out its entertainment slate for the remainder of 2026.
