The double murder trial of former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has heard shocking details of his attempts to hide the bodies of the two men he claims he killed in self-defence.
Lamarre-Condon, 31, has pleaded not guilty to the murders of his ex Jesse Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, saying the men died from gunshot wounds during two separate violent struggles.

The then-senior constable entered Baird’s Sydney terrace in February 2024 armed with his police pistol and heavily disguised.
After the two men died in the terrace on February 19, Lamarre-Condon attempted to clean the scene and left their bodies in surfboard bags in the Paddington home’s courtyard through the afternoon and evening.
TV presenter Baird was due to move into a new house the day after he died.
He was reported missing and a detective on Monday recalled how the Baird’s housemates on February 21 spoke about their confusion at the sight of the two surfboard bags among his possessions, as they’d never discussed surfing before.
The bags, containing the bodies of Baird and Davies, were moved by Lamarre-Condon later that night, a NSW Supreme Court jury has heard.
Confusion over surfboard bags leaking red liquid
The housemates are known under pseudonyms in the proceedings.
“They’re not mine and they’re not Belinda’s,” housemate Sarah King told Detective Senior Constable Alistair Wright of the surfboard bags.
“(Jesse’s) never had surfboards here and he’s never spoken about surfing.”
The confusion grew once the two women noticed a pool of red liquid they initially thought to be rust leaking from the bags.
“I don’t know if this has anything to do with it,” King told the detective before showing him a photograph of the liquid.
“I don’t know if I’m overreacting.”

Wright will undergo cross-examination on Tuesday when the weeks-long trial resumes.
Lamarre-Condon allegedly dumped the two men’s bodies at a rural Greek monastery after unsuccessfully trying to sink them in a dam south of Sydney.
He later handed himself in to police.
Witness recalls alleged chilling conversation
The court heard details of an alleged conversation Lamarre-Condon had with a friend about dumping bodies, nine months before Baird and Davies were killed.
The jury was told Lamarre-Condon allegedly asked then-friend Georgia Cook what she would do with a body in a hypothetical conversation about killing someone.
“After I killed them, I would take their stuff, I would put it in a dumpster and I would take their bodies to bushland where no one would ever find them,” Lamarre-Condon allegedly told Cook.
Lamarre-Condon’s lawyers claim the conversation never happened.
But Cook told the court: “I could never forget those words being said to me.”
‘He was jealous and he was annoyed and pissed off’
The jury has heard evidence from multiple witnesses about Lamarre-Condon’s alleged jealousy in the months leading up to the alleged murders.
A former colleague said the senior constable told her how he would go into Baird’s phone and tamper with his social media and contacts.
“I thought ‘that’s pretty f***ing crazy’,” Kate McKinley said.
“He was jealous and he was annoyed and pissed off.”

One of the last people to see the pair alive told the court they were in high spirits just hours before the shootings. They had only been in a relationship for 10 days and had plans to see friends later that week.
In the days after the killings, Baird’s social media account was still active.
Friend Daniel Hart messaged Baird: “Hello is your wife alive?”
Baird’s account responded: “Hello haha he did smash his phone screen Monday so idk if he’s got that fixed yet.”’
It’s alleged Lamarre-Condon was behind the response.
The trial continues on Tuesday.
