We asked, and Mumbai delivered. At 8 AM, more than 100 Mumbaikars joined hands with The Better India at Dadar Beach to clean up the waste left behind after Ganpati Visarjan. With the help of Beach Warrior Chinu Kwatra, the collected waste will be transformed into school benches for underprivileged children.
Bappa has said goodbye. Now, it’s time for the plastic to go too. This is what civic sense looks like when a community comes together and turns waste into something useful.
