Adelaide is set for a fairly settled start to the week before a run of cooler, showery weather moves in from Wednesday, bringing a wintry change just as many locals settle into the second half of July.
Monday looks like the pick of the next few days across Adelaide, with partly cloudy skies, light winds and a top of 17 degrees in the city. It should stay dry, making for a calm winter day around the metro area, with similar conditions expected from Glenelg to Mount Barker.
Tuesday follows a very similar pattern, with another partly cloudy day, a cool morning low of 9 degrees and a maximum of 17 degrees. Winds will stay light, so while it will feel crisp early, conditions should remain comfortable through the middle of the day.
The change arrives on Wednesday, when showers are expected to develop across Adelaide, most likely through the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will dip slightly, with a top of 15 degrees, while winds shift from north to northwesterly before turning southwesterly later in the day. Rainfall totals are not expected to be particularly heavy, but there is a very high chance of wet weather, with between 1 and 6mm possible.

Saturday is expected to be cloudy with a shower or two and a top of 15 degrees, while Sunday stays partly cloudy with the chance of another light shower. Sunday’s winds are set to pick up from the north to north westerly during the morning, with temperatures again reaching around 15 degrees.
