A mystery lottery player has become one of Australia’s newest millionaires after securing a division one prize worth $1,523,797.81 in Saturday X Lotto draw 4723 on October 24.

The winning ticket was purchased at IGA Pooraka, but the lucky ticketholder has yet to come forward to claim their prize.

Because the ticket wasn’t registered to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner directly, leaving them waiting for the mystery millionaire to check their numbers.

The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said the winner could be completely unaware their life is about to change.

“It’s likely this winner has been going about their Monday as normal with no idea they’re holding a division one winning ticket,” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Saturday X Lotto entry from IGA Pooraka to check their tickets today.”

With the festive season fast approaching, the unexpected windfall could make for a very different Christmas for one lucky Adelaide resident or visitor.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won more than $1.5 million! Your plans for the holidays would certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account,” Ms McIntyre said.

Lottery officials are encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket from the Pooraka supermarket to search their wallets, handbags, cars and anywhere else a forgotten ticket might be hiding.

“Be sure to check everywhere for your ticket because you could be the winner we are searching for. It could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door, or car glovebox,” Ms McIntyre said.

The winning numbers for Saturday X Lotto draw 4723 were 32, 44, 40, 13, 18 and 42, with supplementary numbers 37 and 27.

Four division one winners shared the honours nationally, with one winning entry each in South Australia and New South Wales, and two in Western Australia.

The latest win brings The Lott’s division one tally to 292 across Australia so far in 2026, including 27 winning entries sold through SA Lotteries.

Anyone who believes they may have the winning ticket can check their numbers through The Lott’s official website or at a lottery outlet.

If you’ve discovered you’re holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin claiming your prize.

For Adelaide’s newest mystery millionaire, a routine supermarket visit may have turned into the most valuable shopping trip of their life.
