Cardi B’s Rolex is the headline piece in a birthday haul that is turning heads across social media. The rapper, who turned 34 on October 11th, treated herself to an ultra-rare “Barbie” Rolex Daytona, and the price tag is as eye-popping as the watch itself.

“From Belcalis to Cardi B…a gift from me to me!!” Cardi wrote on Instagram, sharing her bright pink luxury purchases. According to Page Six, the watch was sourced by jeweler Eric Mavani, whom Cardi thanked “for searching all around the world” to find it. Mavani posted proof that Cardi B paid him $2.8 million in two installments for the timepiece. In a video Cardi shared on her own feed, she sits in front of a pink acrylic piano as the jeweler removes the watch from its green case. “There’s probably only 10 made in the world,” he tells her.
Cardi B’s Rolex Is Only Part Of Her Pink Birthday Haul
The watch wasn’t the only gift. Cardi also picked up an Hermès mini Kelly in bubblegum pink matte alligator, a style that has previously sold for around $200,000 on the secondary market, though the price she paid wasn’t disclosed. She topped it off with a custom ring from Pristine Jewelers, featuring a 7-carat natural marquise-cut diamond on a shank set with smaller diamonds.
Fans were quick to cheer her on.
“Treat yourself baby !!! If I had 3 Mil for play I would !!!! Shorty came from nothing and built her self up let her live” one person commented, while another wrote, “She work hard af!!! You deserve it cardi!!! 🔥🔥🔥”
Big purchases are nothing new for the “Ah Ha” rapper. In February, she reportedly bought herself a $500,000 rainbow Audemars Piguet watch, and in August she showed off a collection of Chanel, Hermès and Bottega Veneta bags worth nearly $200,000.
Cardi B’s Rolex Purchase Follows News Of Haircare Line Expansion
While the birthday splurge is making headlines, Cardi is also making serious moves in business. Her Grow-Good Beauty haircare line is expanding into beauty supply stores, a move that AfroTech says keeps the brand accessible to the customers who helped build it. The lineup, inspired by her Dominican roots, is priced at $19.99 or less and includes a repair shampoo, repair conditioner, multi-function serum, and hydrating hair mask. The brand also highlights its Fiberlace technology, which is designed to seal and smooth the hair cuticle to help prevent breakage.
The pricing is personal for Cardi. “I used to go to the beauty supply store and only had $40,” she said during the 2026 Essence Festival. “I put myself in my old shoes.” Grow-Good Beauty launched alongside fashion retailer Revolve and has already sold out multiple times since its debut. The Business of Fashion reported a 40% return customer rate.
Starting Friday, October 23rd, the products are available in four independently owned beauty supply stores in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. The line also opened Tuesday, October 20th, in two beauty supply stores in New York, which AfroTech calls a full-circle moment for the South Bronx native.
“This is where I used to be and I still am,” Cardi told The Business of Fashion. “And the owners keep it real here … If I ask them if they like a product, they’ll be honest with you if they don’t love it. And 90% of the time, I’d go with their suggestion.”
According to the outlet, Cardi chose beauty supply stores over retailers like Sephora or Ulta Beauty because she believes her main supporters shop there, though that doesn’t rule out a bigger retail launch down the road. Revolve Chief Brand Officer Raissa Gerona said starting with beauty supply stores will test the brand’s sustainability in physical retail with a focus on Cardi’s authenticity and relatable haircare journey. Cardi has her own bigger vision, saying she wants Grow-Good Beauty to exist “everywhere.”
