Pamala Serena is a London-born public figure of Punjabi Indian heritage who has called Dubai home since 2012. She holds an honours degree in psychology from University College London and trained at the London School of Film Production. Her career started in entrepreneurship in the UK and continued in Dubai.
The titles came next. Pamala Serena participated in Miss India UK, then took Mrs Universe Dubai 2021 against 25 other contestants and added Mrs UAE World 2022 to her list, two major titles in one year. She serves as an Ambassador of Peace for the United Nations, a role that brings the address Her Excellency.
Those two crowns brought an invitation to the Mrs World pageant in Las Vegas, and she represented the UAE there. 2022 was a big year for her. The Global WOMANS Awards gave her the Successful Public Figure Award, and the Strong Woman’s Award joined that honour. The BeingShe Awards named her Best Woman of Influence, and the First Ladies Forum Economic Development Summit in Dubai gave her a Global Icon Award.
That same summit welcomed her to its board. She also spoke on a panel at the Emirati Business Council Forum, and WRW Business listed her among its Top 25 Global Women of Influence for 2024. Together, those honours make 2022 and 2024 landmark years for her.
Her Charity Work and a Dream of a Wellness Clinic
Children’s causes have her support. Liter of Light and Earth Angels NGO are on her list, and so are the Al Noor Foundation and the SNF Special Needs Foundation. She joined the Mrs. Universe Women’s Empowerment Forum, which runs under the high patronage of the Emirates Businesswomen Council. Special children and women’s causes have a champion in her.
Her message to women is warm and consistent. Every woman, whether a mother or a wife, has the power to conquer daily challenges, she says, and hope and faith wait at the end of any tunnel. She also encourages women to celebrate inner beauty and the talents that belong to them.
Her psychology degree informs her next goal: a holistic clinic and rejuvenation centre that offers therapies and a welcoming space for women who look for support for anxiety or depression.
In December 2022, she met St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terrance Drew and his delegation at a cocktail evening hosted by the St. Kitts and Nevis High Commission in Dubai. Sustainable tourism was the topic, and she stressed that education and changes in behaviour can make sustainable tourism possible.

Netflix launched Desi Bling, a Dubai-set series, on May 20, 2026, and Pamala Serena is part of its cast. The series introduced her story to fans around the world. Netflix gives fans a front-row look at her personality. In the ensemble, she is the voice of pageantry and advocacy, and her community leadership adds another layer.
For Pamala Serena, the series is another platform for her belief in empowering women and cherishing the UAE.
Her daily habits are simple. Her first drink of the day is boiled turmeric and ginger water. Fruits and vegetables fill her diet, and water is a constant companion. A personal trainer coaches her three days a week, and a stretching or yoga class fills another day.
