Rajasthan Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena has been admitted to the Medical ICU ward at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur after testing positive for swine flu. The minister experienced fever and restlessness before testing positive for the H1N1 virus. Doctors at SMS Hospital confirmed that his health status is stable while placing him in the ICU due to breathing difficulties. The incident comes amid a rapid surge in swine flu cases across Rajasthan and the rest of the country.
