Motorcyclist killed in crash with pickup truck in Raynham

Upon arrival, police located a damaged 1999 Suzuki TL 1000 motorcycle and debris scattered throughout the intersection.

A 31-year-old Massachusetts man on a motorcycle was killed as a result of a crash with a pickup truck, Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release. 

Shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Raynham police and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Route 138 and Elm Street, responding to report of a crash that involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.  

Upon arrival, police located a damaged 1999 Suzuki TL 1000 motorcycle and debris scattered throughout the intersection. The motorcycle operator, Jason Marshall, of Taunton, was found on the ground with significant injuries. 

Marshall was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, the DA’s office said. 

Police also located a 2015 Chevy Silverado in the intersection with heavy damage to the right driver’s side. The driver, a 57-year-old man, remained on scene and spoke with police, the DA’s office said. 

The investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the State Police Detective Unit alongside Raynham police.
