On Wednesday night Sydney FC host Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in Game Two of the Sydney Super Cup.
The Sky Blues come into the game in good form after kicking off their pre-season campaign with an emphatic 5-1 win over Bayswater City in the Australia Cup.
A hat-trick from young talent Tiago Quintal ensured the Sky Blues cruised through to the Round of 16, with Patrick Kisnorbo’s side now turning their attention to a mouthwatering clash against Premier League side Spurs.
The Sky Blues will be without striker Victor Campuzano though, with confirmation on Tuesday the Spanish star will be sidelined for several months after rupturing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).
Meanwhile Spurs come into the game having recently defeated fellow Isuzu UTE A-League outfit Auckland FC at Eden Park.
Goals from strikers Dane Scarlett and Brazilian international Richarlison secured a 2-0 win over the Black Knights in front of a packed out crowd in Auckland.

New signings Andy Robertson and Sandro Tonali could be in line to feature for Roberto De Zerbi’s side after sitting out Sunday’s win over Auckland.
Wednesday night’s clash at Allianz Stadium comes after Western Sydney Wanderers and Chelsea FC kicked off the 2026 Sydney Super Cup with a 10-goal thriller on Tuesday night, with Chelsea running out 6-4 winners over their Isuzu UTE A-League opponents.
The Sydney Super Cup then wraps up with a huge clash between Spurs and Chelsea at Accor Stadium on Saturday, August 1.
