Melbourne City have secured the services of experienced forward Andrew Nabbout for the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season after announcing the 32-year-old has signed a one-year contract extension.
The new deal will see Nabbout enter a seventh season in City colours, continuing his long association with the club after playing a key role during one of the most successful periods in its history.
Nabbout sits seventh on City’s all-time appearances list with 115 games and 18 goals and has helped the club win three Premierships and two Championships.

“Melbourne City has become home over the past six years, so it means a lot to have the opportunity to pull on the City shirt for another season,” Nabbout said.
“I’ve been fortunate to share some incredible moments with this Club, but I’m as motivated as ever to help this group create more of them.
“We’ve already put in a lot of hard work throughout pre-season, and I know I have an important role to play both on the pitch and around the dressing room.
He concluded: “I’m looking forward to embracing that responsibility throughout the season.”
Melbourne City Director of Football Michael Petrillo welcomed the extension.
“Andrew has played an important role throughout a hugely successful period for our Club, and we’re pleased he’ll remain with us for another season,” Petrillo said.
“He brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality, while the way he prepares and trains every day sets a great example for the younger players in our group.
“Andrew also has plenty to contribute on the pitch, and his versatility gives Aurelio another strong option in attack. We’re looking forward to seeing the role he can play this season.”
