When Sayaji Shinde lost his mother he made her a simple promise, to plant trees in her memory 🌳❤️
What began with just 5,000 saplings slowly grew into Sahyadri Devrai a movement that has now nurtured more than 6.5 lakh native trees across Maharashtra
By restoring indigenous forests with banyan peepal tamarind and other native species the initiative is reviving ecosystems supporting wildlife and bringing back biodiversity that once thrived naturally 🌿
But beyond conservation this story is also about love grief and legacy proving that sometimes the deepest loss can grow into something that gives life to millions more
