Emily Cooper’s whirlwind European adventure is officially heading towards its final goodbye.
Netflix has confirmed production is now underway on the sixth and final season of Emily in Paris, with filming kicking off in Greece as the global hit prepares for its last chapter after years of memes, fashion moments and chaotic love triangles.
The Darren Star created comedy drama first launched in 2020 and quickly became one of Netflix’s biggest international breakout hits, spending 32 weeks in the streamer’s Global Top 10 and reaching number one in 90 countries.

Across five seasons, the series has drawn more than 250 million views between 2023 and 2025, while also becoming a major tourism talking point for Paris and France.
Creator Darren Star reflected on the show’s run, thanking both fans and the creative team as production begins on the final season for Netflix from Paramount Television Studios.
“As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us.”
Star said making the series alongside its cast and crew had been “the trip of a lifetime”, adding that the team could not wait to share the final chapter with audiences around the world.
Lily Collins will return as ambitious Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper, whose Parisian work assignment famously spiralled into a glamorous mix of romance, friendship drama and workplace chaos.
The series has also cemented Darren Star’s long standing relationship with Netflix, with titles including Younger, Uncoupled and the Sex and the City films collectively generating hundreds of millions of views on the platform in recent years.
Created, written and executive produced by Darren Star, Emily in Paris is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media for Netflix.
No release date has yet been announced for the sixth and final season of Emily in Paris.
