Yesterday, Momina Iqbal shared that she has been facing harassment from an MPA associated with Pakistan Muslim League (N). She further claimed that both she and her family have been receiving threats. She also expressed her frustration over the higher authorities who didn’t take action on her complaints.
Momina Iqbal shared a detailed story and also urged the government to take action against the influential MPA. She also registered an online complaint, after which the police department took prompt action.
NCCIA Director Muhammad Ali Waseem spoke to the media and shared the latest updates on the case. He said, “We received an online application from the actress because she was busy in Karachi for a shoot, but she is back in Lahore and will appear before the NCCIA office tomorrow along with the MPA against whom she filed the complaint. Both will appear on 21st May, and the issue will be resolved.” Watch here:
