Al Ain’s ADNOC Pro League season ended with the shield in their hands and another win on the board.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, presented Al Ain Club with the league trophy after their 4-0 win over Dibba at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Saturday.
The title itself had already been secured two rounds earlier. This was the formal close to a campaign in which Al Ain finished unbeaten and top of the table with 68 points.
The trophy ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association, and Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.

Al Ain made sure the final night matched the mood in the stands.
Soufiane Rahimi opened the scoring after 15 minutes, before Laba Kodjo added a second six minutes later. Erik Jorgens made it 3-0 in the 79th minute, and Yahya bin Khalek completed the scoring in stoppage time.
The night confirmed a difficult end to the season for Dibba. They finished bottom of the table on 20 points and were relegated to the First Division.
Al Bataeh also went down after ending the campaign on 21 points, following a draw with Shabab Al Ahli.
