CONFIRMED: 10 locks in 2026 season of BIG BROTHER AUSTRALIA

After a buzzy return to 10 last year that reignited fan interest in the format, Big Brother is officially heading back for another season, ending months of speculation following the December finale.

The network has today confirmed the series will return later this year as expected, with Mel Tracina back as host and a fresh batch of housemates set to take on live nominations, evictions and unpredictable twists, with a three year deal understood to be in place with Endemol Shine Australia.

Notably absent from the renewal was any confirmation around a return to Dreamworld this year, with the site understood to have been reconsidered alongside other Gold Coast locations, including Movie World’s purpose built studio facilities and other suitable options.

The Dreamworld setup faced production challenges last season, including an uncovered outdoor stage impacted by weather, proximity to park guests and constraints of housing the set within the convention centre, factors understood to have fed into negotiations between Dreamworld, Endemol Shine and 10.

And in 2026, a brand-new batch of housemates will be rolling their luggage up to BB’s door in the hopes of winning the hearts of the nation, and the cheeky cash prize that goes with it!

Big Brother said:

“Another year, another group of housemates who think they can outsmart me. How adorable.”

“Australia, I hope you’re ready, because I’ve been watching, I’ve been planning, and let’s just say… this year’s surprises will be my finest work yet.”

“Welcome back to my House.”
