Fire and blood are building again as HBO locks in a premiere date for the next chapter of its Game of Thrones prequel, with a new teaser offering a glimpse at the chaos to come.
Returning almost two years to the day since season two premiered, the next instalment of House of the Dragon pushes the Targaryen civil war further into open conflict, as rival factions harden their positions and familiar alliances begin to fracture.

Season three of the HBO Original drama series House of the Dragon debuts Monday, 22 June, only on HBO Max. The eight-episode season will air new episodes weekly, leading up to the season finale on 10 August.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
