When she lost her eyesight at just 8 years old, many thought her world had gone dark.
But Chhonzin Angmo refused to let blindness define her future. 🌄
She navigated life with courage — studying at Miranda House, Delhi University, while pushing her physical limits through sports like swimming, judo, and marathons.
Step by step, challenge by challenge, she kept proving that determination sees what the eyes cannot.
Then came her biggest test.
In May 2025, Chhonzin Angmo reached the summit of Mount Everest — becoming the world’s first visually impaired woman to achieve this feat. 🏔️
She may have lost her eyesight…
but she never lost her vision.
Her story reminds us that sometimes the greatest journeys are guided not by sight — but by belief.
Would you dare to chase a dream this big?
