Voice actress Yume Miyamoto has been cast in the currently airing second season of Mission: Yozakura Family TV anime series. Season two began airing in Japan on April 12, 2026.
Miyamoto, who voices Asa in the ongoing Daemons of the Shadow Realm anime series, will voice Jigokumimi no Usa, who is a magazine reporter with excellent hearing. The character will make an appearance in the second season’s third episode (30th episode overall in the anime series) on April 26, 2026.

Additionally, creditless versions of season two’s opening and ending sequences have also been released. The opening theme song is “What’s ‘KAZOKU’” by Sakurazaka46.
Meanwhile, the ending theme song is “Shalala” by Pilaf Alien.
Mirai Minato (Season 1 director) is serving as chief director for the second season of Mission: Yozakura Family, with Takahiro Nakatsugawa (Season 1 Episode 2 and 11 storyboard artist and director) as director, Mirai Minato (reprising) as series composer, and Mizuki Takahashi (reprising) as character designer and chief animation director. Silver Link is in charge of the animation production.
The original action-comedy manga series is written and drawn by Hitsuji Gondaira. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 26, 2019 to January 20, 2025. A total of 29 manga volumes were published in Japan.
The first season of its anime adaptation aired from April 2024 to October 2024. It streamed in the U.S. on Hulu and in other countries and territories on Disney+.
