Sanjay Singh announces that the Aam Aadmi Party will submit a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman seeking the disqualification of seven MPs who allegedly joined the BJP, calling their move illegal and unconstitutional under the anti-defection law, which does not permit splits. He also accuses the BJP of suppressing AAP’s presence in Gujarat by suspending its social media pages, arresting MLAs, threatening candidates during civic polls, and even incidents of violence. Singh claims that AAP, which secured 14% votes and five seats in Gujarat, is being targeted for its growing influence. He further alleges that three MPs were seen at the BJP office, with action to follow against the remaining four, while dismissing photos shared by Pravesh Verma as fake and defamatory. He adds that AAP will pursue legal action and calls the claims propaganda, asserting that leaders like Arvind Kejriwal remain accessible to the public.
