It’s Day 3 of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, with competition continuing across multiple venues as Australian athletes prepare to take to the ice and snow in several key events scheduled across Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Australian attention will centre on Figure Skating and Snowboarding, with additional medal events unfolding in Freestyle Skiing, Alpine Skiing, Curling, Ice Hockey, Luge, Ski Jumping and Speed Skating as the packed program rolls on.

Australia will be represented in the Figure Skating – Ice Dance Rhythm Dance by Holly Harris and Jason Chan, who are set to compete at 5.20am AEDT on Tuesday, February 11. The appearance marks an important moment for the duo as they step onto the Olympic stage during Day 3 competition.

In the snow, Australia could also feature in the Women’s Snowboard Big Air Final, scheduled for 5.30am AEST on Tuesday, February 11, pending the outcome of the qualification round held at 5.30am AEST on Monday, February 10. Australian athletes listed for the event are Tess Coady, Meila Stalker and Ally Hickman, with final starters to be confirmed.

Earlier in the night, Australia’s Daisy Thomas will line up in the Women’s Freestyle Skiing Slopestyle Final, taking place at 11.30pm AEDT on Monday, February 10, as the discipline crowns its medal winners.

Beyond Australian involvement, Day 3 features a full slate of international competition. Curling – Mixed Doubles begins the evening program at 8.00pm AEDT on Monday, February 10, with matches including Switzerland vs. Canada, United States vs. Italy, Norway vs. Korea, and Czechia vs. Estonia. The Mixed Doubles Semi-Final follows at 4.05am AEDT on Tuesday, February 11.

The Men’s Alpine Skiing Team Combined event continues across two sessions, with the Downhill run scheduled for 8.30pm AEDT on Monday, February 10, followed by the Slalom leg at 12.00am AEDT on Tuesday, February 11.

Women’s Ice Hockey preliminaries are spread throughout the schedule, beginning with Japan vs. Italy at 10.10pm AEDT on Monday, February 10, followed by Germany vs. France at 2.40am AEDT, Switzerland vs. United States at 6.40am AEDT, and Canada vs. Czechia at 7.10am AEDT on Tuesday, February 11.

Other medal events on the Day 3 program include Luge – Women’s Singles at 3.00am AEDT, Ski Jumping – Men’s NH Individual at 5.00am AEDT, and Speed Skating – Women’s 1000m at 3.30pm AEDT.
