A fan favourite chapter of Star Wars: Visions is getting the full series treatment, with Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi set to continue Lah Kara’s journey in an all new anime adventure.
Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer and key art for the eight episode limited series, expanding the acclaimed The Ninth Jedi story first introduced in Star Wars: Visions.
Produced by Lucasfilm and Production I.G, the series launches the new Star Wars: Visions Presents banner, designed to tell longer form stories from the anthology. It picks up after The Ninth Jedi and The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope.

Lah Kara continues her Jedi training under Margrave Juro before setting out with a group of Jedi in training on a mission to rescue her father.
The series is directed by Shunsuke Tada, with Kenji Kamiyama serving as supervising director. The trailer debuted during the Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi panel at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.
The English language cast includes returning voices Kimiko Glenn, Andrew Kishino, Masi Oka, Patrick Seitz, JP Karliak, Simu Liu and Neil Kaplan, while Feodor Chin, Young Mazino, Chase Sui Wonders and Keone Young join the adventure.
