The Haitian Times, the leading news outlet covering the Haitian diaspora, today announced a strategic partnership with the Federation of Haitian Chambers of Commerce to elevate Haitian-owned businesses through expanded media visibility, joint programming, and deeper community engagement.
The collaboration marks a significant step toward advancing economic opportunity across Haitian communities by spotlighting business leadership and fostering long-term growth.
“Haitians have long been entrepreneurial, industrious, and deeply committed to building something greater for our families and our communities,” said Vania André, publisher and editor-in-chief of The Haitian Times. “At The Haitian Times, we are proud to leverage our reach and reputation to uplift Haitian-owned businesses and the leaders behind them.”
Founded in 2025, the Federation brings together more than 800 business owners through member chambers in Georgia, Orlando, Tampa, Southwest Florida, and South Florida. Under the leadership of its president, Dr. Ronald Cetoute, the Federation serves as a central voice and resource for Haitian entrepreneurs in key diaspora markets.
“We are truly excited about this partnership with The Haitian Times. It represents a renaissance for our community and a powerful step toward amplifying the voices, stories, and economic impact of Haitian-owned businesses,” said Cetoute. “By bringing together trusted media, strong chambers, and intentional programming, we are creating new pathways for visibility, investment, and long-term wealth creation across the Haitian diaspora for the greater good.”
As part of the partnership, The Haitian Times will serve as the official media sponsor for Federation events and initiatives, offering digital exposure through its monthly audience of approximately 150,000 readers. The agreement includes featured editorial coverage, discounted advertising, social media amplification, and co-branded initiatives.
Two major programs anchor the collaboration: the Haitian Wealth Summit, a one-day event focused on generational wealth and entrepreneurship, and the Business Leaders Breakfast Series, a quarterly convening spotlighting Haitian business executives and innovators across the diaspora.
“This partnership reflects not only our belief in the power of our entrepreneurs,” André said, “but our responsibility to help shape the economic narrative of the Haitian diaspora.”
