Hungry visitors in downtown Boston can visit the crème de la crème of food halls, according to USA Today readers.

The publication named the top 10 food halls in America, part of its 2026 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and High Street Place in Boston ranked No. 1. 

The 20,000 square-foot food hall, which celebrated its fourth anniversary in March, features 20 food and drink vendors “curated by Greater Boston’s culinary rockstars,” according to its website, as well as a five-story atrium, retractable windows for open-air dining, and a year-round patio.

“From gourmet sandwiches and salads to modern sushi, shellfish towers and award winning cocktails, there’s something for every craving and mood,” according to the website.

What’s more: James Beard Award-nominated chef and restaurateur Tiffani Faison has opened five concepts at the food hall: Tigerbaby, Bubble Bath, Tenderoni’s, Charming Gardener, and Dive Bar.

Set in the heart of Downtown Boston, High Street Place offers a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere anchored by 20 distinctive food and drink concepts. The space comes alive throughout the week with a dynamic lineup of events, from live music and DJ sets to trivia nights and even magic shows. Visitors can start with fresh local seafood at Dive Bar, grab a crave-worthy fried chicken sandwich at Haley Jane’s, and wind down with a glass of wine from Bubble Bath. Beyond these highlights, the expansive hall showcases a rich variety of flavors, making it a true destination for every taste.

The food hall’s officials celebrated on social media, writing: “Every vote, every visit, every lunch break, happy hour, event, and late-night bite helped make this happen. This win is a direct reflection of the community that shows up for us every single day, and we do not take that lightly.”
