State Police arrested a rideshare driver Sunday in connection with the alleged assault of a passenger at Boston Logan International Airport, the agency announced.
Leonard Bacon, 23, of Lowell, was arrested at a home in Lowell and taken to the State Police Barracks at Logan Airport, a State Police spokesperson said Sunday evening.
Bacon is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, according to State Police.
The charges stem from an incident shortly before 5:30 a.m. Friday, when a passenger ran into Terminal C with apparent injuries and reported being “physically assaulted by the rideshare driver prior to being dropped off,” State Police said.
