Spend a Morning Exploring Cathleen Stone Island (formerly Thompson Island) on Saturday
Here’s a unique way to experience Boston Harbor. Cathleen Stone Island (formerly Thompson Island) is offering Unescorted Public Access on select Saturdays this summer, giving visitors the chance to explore more than 200 acres of scenic trails, salt marshes, meadows, and shoreline at their own pace.
The adventure begins with a ferry ride departing from EDIC Berth 10 in the Seaport at 9 a.m., with return service leaving the island at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, and children 15 and under ride free. Space is limited, so advance registration is required.
If you’ve never explored one of Boston Harbor’s hidden gems, this is a great opportunity to spend a morning outdoors. Takes place on Saturdays through the first week in September!
