A second suspect accused of robbing a South Boston lemonade stand last month has been taken into custody, authorities announced.
The 14-year-old boy voluntarily turned himself in on Friday accompanied by his mother, the Boston Police Department said in a press release.
The suspect, who police did not identify because he is a minor, is charged with two counts of delinquency to wit: armed robbery and one count of delinquency to wit: carrying a firearm without a license, police said.

The alleged robbery happened the afternoon of June 10 on West Ninth Street, where brother and sister David Byrne, 12, and Juliette Byrne, 11, were running a lemonade stand.
Police said two young males approached the stand after making several passes through the area. They asked whether the stand accepted Apple Pay before allegedly grabbing the cash box.
One of the suspects displayed what appeared to be a black firearm tucked into his waistband before the pair fled on foot, and the cash box was later found empty, according to police.
Authorities arrested one 14-year-old boy two days after the robbery. He is facing two counts of delinquency to wit: armed robbery and two counts of delinquency to wit: carrying a firearm without a license, police said.
Police released surveillance photos in early July, asking the public for help in identifying the second person allegedly involved.
The robbery drew widespread attention and prompted an outpouring of community support. When the siblings reopened their lemonade stand, neighbors and city officials attended, including Mayor Michelle Wu. City Councilor Ed Flynn also announced that half of the proceeds would be donated to a local organization working to prevent gun violence.
