Ramadan Nights Brings Food, Play and Tradition to Terra Gardens

Ramadan Nights Brings Food, Play and Tradition to Terra Gardens

In Dubai, Ramadan celebrations are not always about grand tents and lavish buffets. Sometimes, they are about slowing down and spending meaningful evenings outdoors. That is the spirit behind Ramadan Nights, a new weekend pop-up at Terra Gardens in Expo City Dubai.

Designed as a relaxed, family-friendly gathering, the event takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 10pm. It offers a welcoming space for families, friends and solo visitors to reconnect in a calm garden setting filled with soft lights, gentle entertainment and flexible dining.

A Garden That Comes Alive at Sunset

As late afternoon turns into evening, Terra Gardens transforms. Lanterns glow, conversations grow warmer and children play freely across the open space. The atmosphere is unhurried, encouraging guests to arrive early, find a comfortable spot and stay as long as they wish.

The layout invites guests to stroll, pause, chat and return to different corners of the garden throughout the evening. It is a setting built for reflection and togetherness, in keeping with the spirit of Ramadan.

Activities for All Ages

Ramadan Nights offers a thoughtful mix of activities without overwhelming noise or crowds. Creative stations allow visitors to craft lanterns and crescent moons, while game zones feature foosball, table tennis and a giant chessboard that draws both teenagers and adults.

Younger children can enjoy slime-making workshops and face painting, while storytelling sessions create quiet moments for families to gather. One of the most heartwarming features is the Rescue Animal Encounter, giving children the opportunity to interact with animals in a safe and supervised environment.

Flexible Dining Options

Food at Ramadan Nights follows the same relaxed approach. Guests can choose an AED 20 entry-only option, allowing them to explore the event and order from the à la carte menu at PXB between 4:30pm and 9:30pm.

For those who prefer a curated experience, a set menu priced at AED 80 is available from 6pm to 9:30pm, offering a pre-planned selection suited to iftar or a leisurely evening meal.

A Weekend Ritual in the Making

Running across four weekends starting in February, Ramadan Nights at Terra Gardens is designed to be revisited. One weekend with friends, another with family. Its appeal lies in its calm energy and the way it embraces the slower rhythm of Ramadan evenings in Dubai.

With lantern-lit paths, creative workshops and open-air dining, this Expo City pop-up adds a gentle new chapter to the city’s Ramadan calendar.
