The other victims — men aged 38, 37, and 27 — were all seriously injured, Queensland Police said.
A boxing event was on at the pub at the time, and families filled the premises when the evening descended into chaos, 7NEWS reports.
The gunman fled and a car was found burnt out shortly after, about 15-minutes south in Waterford.
“There is not believed to be any ongoing threat to the public,” Queensland Police said.
The attack is understood to be targeted, and police told 7NEWS it is likely linked to motorcyle gangs.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
The pub has been locked down as detectives investigate.
