An innocent footy fan has been assaulted at the MCG in a violent outburst during Hawthorn’s clash with Collingwood.
The 20-year-old attacker allegedly punched two people on Saturday night before police swooped, arresting him in the stands.

Shirtless with his mouth running, the Collingwood supporter — who was out on bail — was marched out of the MCG.
On his way out, he eyed up an innocent man and clocked him in the head.
He unleashed a barrage of blows before the rogue fan was pulled away. Still, he was screaming at the victim before police finally arrived.
Cheers erupted in the Shane Warne Stand as the man was arrested, but concerns quickly shifted to the victim, who was in a bad way.
“I walked over and I could tell that his nose was quite broken and his cheekbone was broken,” witness Joshua Hunt told 7NEWS.
The alleged assault happened right before half-time at the Hawks-Pies game, and right in front of Hunt, who is a nurse and alerted authorities after watching the man allegedly hit another man moments before.

“He’s punched another man, looked like a Hawks supporter. It looked like there was an argument about football, from what I could see, but it’s just escalated from there,” Hunt said.
After spending the night in jail, the man was hit with a raft of charges. Some of them include resisting arrest, affray and possessing cocaine, but it’s also been revealed he was on bail.
Oliver Thomas was still shirtless as he appeared before a magistrate on Sunday afternoon. He’ll spend another night behind bars, returning to court on Monday.
