Members of Zayed Authority for People of Determination have produced special scarves for Al Ain and Al Jazira ahead of the UAE President’s Cup final in Abu Dhabi.
The final is scheduled for Friday, May 22, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, where the two clubs will meet for one of the main prizes in UAE football.
The scarves were made through the Authority’s vocational rehabilitation workshops “Al Nahla” brand.
The campaign encourages fans to support their clubs with respect and avoid abuse or conflict, including on social media.
The Authority said the project also gives People of Determination a clear role in national and sporting occasions.
The scarves carry the message: “Cheer with Sportsmanship… and Support People of Determination.”
The awareness drive has been used across several sporting events in recent years. The Authority said it has produced thousands of scarves for local and Arab clubs, including Al Ain, Al Wahda, Al Jazira, Al Wasl, Al Ahly and Egypt’s Zamalek Club.
