The Pakistan Cricket Board has revealed key details for the upcoming National T20 Cup 2026, including the tournament’s prize money, commentary panel and trophy unveiling ahead of the event scheduled to run from March 7 to March 18.
The 12-day tournament will take place at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar and will feature 10 regional teams competing for the title currently held by Lahore Blues.
The PCB announced that a total prize pool of Rs. 8.5 million will be up for grabs in the tournament. The winning team will receive Rs. 5 million, while the runners-up will take home Rs. 2.5 million.
Several individual awards have also been confirmed. The best batter, best bowler, best wicketkeeper and player of the tournament will each receive Rs. 100,000. In addition, the player of the match will earn Rs. 25,000, while the player of the final will receive Rs. 50,000.
The glittering trophy for the National T20 Cup 2026 was also unveiled on Friday at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium. Captains of the 10 participating teams, Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Karachi Whites, Karachi Blues, Lahore Blues, Lahore Whites, Multan, Peshawar and Sialkot, unveiled the silverware and posed with the trophy they will compete for during the tournament.
The PCB also announced the commentary panel for the tournament. Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt will be part of the panel, having previously performed Urdu commentary during the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League last year.
Butt will be joined by former national cricketer Aiman Anwar, along with Ali Younis, Shah Faisal, Raja Asad and Imranullah.
The tournament will begin on Saturday with two Group A matches. Lahore Whites will face Peshawar at 4:15 p.m., followed by Faisalabad taking on Karachi Whites at 9:15 p.m.
