Tuesdays typically are a day off for NFL teams. The Patriots practiced yesterday and will meet back tomorrow to introduce the Week 2 game plan for the Steelers this Sunday at 1:00 ET. This will be a gut-check game. How will the team respond after opening the season with a loss? Mike Vrabel has his work cut out for him.
The loss shouldn’t be sitting well with anyone. Last year Vrabel had his players responding to adversity in fantastic fashion. Scheming around injuries will be key too, and the return of TreVeyon Henderson should give Drake Maye another trusted target on the field. I’ll be looking for some fight from all units when the Patriots take the field again, and that motivation will come directly from the head coach and team captains.
