The 4 p.m. deadline has passed, the cuts have been made, and the Patriots have announced their initial 53-man roster for this upcoming season.
These names, of course, are subject to change. Coach Mike Vrabel said during the preseason that the Patriots don’t have a very deep team. He has also consistently said that New England is always looking for ways to improve the team.
Still, Sunday marks a milestone in the NFL calendar. Some players are cut, others are able to celebrate because their dream of making an NFL roster has been realized.
With the season opener in Seattle less than two weeks away, here’s a look at the 53 men who made it past cutdown day for the Patriots.
