The Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a 15-member Pakistan squad for the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe women.
The series will be played at the National Bank Stadium from May 12 to 15.
Pakistan and Zimbabwe are currently playing a three-match ODI series at the same venue in Karachi. Pakistan have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The third and final ODI will be played later today.
Fatima Sana will continue to lead Pakistan in the T20I series. All three matches are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. local time.
Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen have earned their maiden call-ups to Pakistan’s T20I squad.
Amber, a right-arm pacer, impressed in the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament, where she took 11 wickets in eight matches for the Invincibles. Saira was also part of Pakistan’s T20I squad during the recent tour of South Africa.
