The National Database and Registration Authority has granted limited additional powers to 173 e-Sahulat franchises in Lahore, providing significant relief to citizens seeking identity-related services.
These e-Sahulat centers, commonly located in neighborhood shops, will now offer a range of essential NADRA services to improve accessibility and convenience.
Under the new initiative, citizens can apply for a Child Registration Certificate (B-Form) for children under 10 years of age at these franchises.
In addition, services such as renewal of identity cards and issuance of duplicate cards in case of loss are now available at the same locations.
The franchises have also been authorized to process the cancellation of identity cards for deceased individuals, further expanding their service scope.
Officials said the move aims to reduce pressure on NADRA offices, bring services closer to the public, and enhance ease of access for routine documentation needs.
