Murder investigation launched after man dies from stab wound in North Albury, NSW

A murder probe has been launched following news a man found with a stab wound last month has died.

Emergency services were called about 1am on Sunday, September 27 to Calimo St, North Albury, where they found a 28-year-old man with a wound to his neck.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a critical condition, however police were advised on Sunday that he had died.

State Crime Command Homicide Squad will now assist Murray River Police District officers with the investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Detectives are now asking anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage or any other information to contact Crime Stoppers.
