REMOW’s It’s Anime FAST channel will be adding the Monster Eater “light anime” series to its streaming lineup on Samsung TV Plus. The series began airing in Japan on April 2, 2026.
The series will make its North American streaming debut outside of Japan on Samsung TV Plus’ channel #3202. The first three episodes will debut on April 17, 2026 at 10:00 PM EST, with the broadcast schedule subject to change.
Hikaru Sato is directing the light anime adaptation, with Kazuya Takahashi in charge of the production supervision and nanogram.inc providing production assistance. IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio are the animation production companies.
The main voice cast stars Makoto Furukawa as Rudd and Yuki Nakashima as Elyssia.

The fantasy light novel series is written by Renkino and illustrated by Kawaku. It was published by Earth Star Entertainment from August 18, 2023 to January 17, 2024 and released two total volumes in Japan. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on March 31, 2023.
LINE Manga launched a webtoon adaptation on June 29, 2024, which is drawn by Kei Ichimatsu and Tanako Tanao. Naver’s WEBTOON service releases the LINE Manga webtoon in English digitally.
A separate manga adaptation by TATE was launched on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service on August 21, 2024.
REMOW describes the main synopsis of Monster Eater as:
Rudd is an E-rank adventurer. The only skill he possesses, ‘ Status Immunity ‘ is a subtle ability that is only useful for gathering herbs in The Noxious Labyrinth. He has almost no combat ability and is even mocked by the surrounding adventurers as a ‘Grubby Forager.’
Rudd challenges a new labyrinth to break through the current situation, but is betrayed by his companions and gets stranded. When a betrayal leaves him for dead without any supplies or help, he commits a taboo and consumes the flesh of monsters…
