The ball that will be at the centre of every moment across the A-Leagues this season has now been revealed!
Mitre Sports Australia & New Zealand has unveiled the Ultimax Pro, the Official Match Ball of the A-League Men and Ninja A-League Women for the 2026/27 season.
Featuring a bold split design inspired by the intensity and energy of the A-Leagues, the new Ultimax Pro will take centre stage across Australia and New Zealand throughout the upcoming season.
Built for football at the highest level, the Ultimax Pro combines Mitre’s decades of football heritage with its latest performance technology.
The ball features HyperFlow debossed grooves, designed to reduce drag and provide greater stability through the air, alongside a high-grade HyperFoam cushioning layer to deliver consistent rebound and response with every strike.
Mitre’s HyperSeal thermally bonded technology provides enhanced shape retention and durability while minimising water absorption, with a bespoke Delta Skin surface designed to provide additional grip and control in play.
The Ultimax Pro is Mitre’s elite professional match ball and carries FIFA Quality Pro certification, meeting FIFA’s highest testing standards for match ball performance.
The new ball continues Mitre’s partnership with the A-Leagues and will feature throughout the 2026/27 season as another huge year of football gets underway.
The 2026/27 A-League Men season kicks off Friday 16 October, before the Ninja A-League Women gets underway the following day on Saturday 17 October.
